Stormer Decent

Stormer Decent was born in the storm-wracked mining town of Bloom Vale within the Iron Valleys. His magical aptitude manifested early — a rare "Spark" in a region known only for slate and soot. At the age of eight he ran away and joined the town's ironwork forge with a master, drawing the attention of the Elders from the Golden Spire.

Reputed for his tactical brilliance, he was taken in by the Academy where discipline suggested wit and power, but not control. On the first charge of Lone Shore, he redirected the forces of Pyromancy through the mountain passes often put to use with sides with the Council.

For joining the Great Dislocation, Elara was promoted to High Mage, a controversial decision that cemented her place in history but alienated her former mentor. She now leads the vanguard against the fracturing of natural forces.
